- Any person who is under 18, or who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, or who is self-excluded, or who falls into any category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from gambling and/or participating in this promotional competition.
2. This promotional competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
3. This promotional competition is exclusive to all Rewards Programme cardholders (“Participants”) subject to their respective active membership(s) Emnotweni Casino.
4. Entries cannot be purchased for cash, points or through any other form of consideration. Entries accrue proportionally as per advertised earning criteria during 19 March to 25 April 2022 (“Promotional Earning Period”). Points/tickets are not transferable.
5. Participants earn tickets by:
- Earning points. One ticket is earned for every 1500 points earned on their Rewards cards when playing Slots and/or Tables whilst using their respective Rewards Cards at Emnotweni Casino during the Promotional Earning Period.
b. Gaming visits. Five tickets are earned for every *active Gaming day (visit) during the advertised promotional earning period.
*. An Active Gaming visit is defined as each day where a minimum of 20 Rewards points were earned at Emnotweni casino during the promotional earning period.
- Participants must activate their entry into the Finalist draw(s), during the stipulated activation period as will be communicated via SMS to contactable qualifiers. 08h00 on 27 April to 18h30 on 30 April 2022.
7. Draw times, dates and points criteria to earn tickets will be advertised through advertising mediums used for this promotion.
8. Prize winners will be selected by means of a random draw from the Emnotweni casino draw stage. All draws will be done electronically, excluding the Final draw
9. Participants cannot be drawn more than once to qualify for the Finale.
10. Participants are not required to be present on the Finalist draw.
11. All 10 Participants for the Finale are required to be present on 30 April 2022 for the final draw at 20h00. Should a participant elect not to be present in person when the winner/s are announced, the participant must nominate another person who has been duly authorized in writing to attend the draw on behalf of a participant in the form and manner determined by management. Nomination forms will be available at the Customer Services from 27 April to 18h30 on 30 April 2022.
12. Should a finalist not be contactable prior to the Finale draw, Emnotweni Casino reserves the right to appoint a participant on their behalf provided the elected person is not directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
13. Authorized representatives or a participant shall not be entitled to any prizes and shall not take receipt of prizes accruing to the Participants they represent.
14. Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not representative), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the draw from the casino where the prize(s) were won.
15. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item(s) unless otherwise advertised.
16. Should the prize winner not present themselves, and there is no record of the prize winner nominating a representative to act on their behalf, prizes may be forfeited
17. Should the prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of nominating a representative to be present for the draw, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided in the proxy form or otherwise readily available. In such circumstances, the prize winner may within15 days of the draw claim the prize.
18. Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash unless otherwise advertised. Prize winners must sign for receipt of prizes.
19. The prize winner must claim the prize at the casino within 15 days of the draw.
20. All decisions are final and binding, no correspondence or appeals will be entered into; any complaints arising at the event will be investigated and forwarded to the MER for investigation and final decision.
21. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management.
22. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
23. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force.

Slots Surprise and Delight Draws on 19, 29 March & 2, 9, 16 & 23 Apr
25. The system will randomly select a Rewards members who were playing on a slot machine at Emnotweni Casino during the promotional period.
26. Customers will be allowed to participate in promotion more than once depending on selection by the system. Should a player not be found, he/she will forfeit the prize.
o Once positive verification has been confirmed the customer will get a guaranteed R500 cash prize. He/she will also get the chance to roll the dice.
o The R500 prize will be multiplied by whatever number the dice falls on; and the rest of the prize will be given in FreePlay. The Marketing representative will give an instant R500 cash and write out the remaining FreePlay value in the Prize disbursement book.
o Numbers on the dice will vary according to the status of the selected winner:
• Black – 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,10

30. Qualification at the tables strictly constitutes the following combinations:
- American Roulette – 1 x straight on the days date
b. Blackjack – Blackjack of the same suit
c. Poker – Two Pair or higher
- Guests with winning combinations will receive an entry ticket into the prize draw at 10pm on the promotion day. Manual draws will be done at the Non-Smoking Tables
32. Prizes are to be collected and signed for receipt thereof by the relevant Prize Winner (not representative), as the case may be, within 15 days from the date of the presentation of prize/draw from the Emnotweni Customer Services Desk.

35. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified

40. In the case that Covid regulations are changed, or that the business is further affected by the existing regulations, the promotion may be halted. Entry criteria may be adjusted should it not be possible to achieve in the case of further restriction on operating hours.
